We’d like to start this by saying thanks to Gavin Dunne for the use of his music, so go and buy his music please.
This week we have a good old talk about the difference between depth and complexity in games, as we think there is a great difference between the two, especially looking at games like Super Giants Transistor, which I’ve been playing over the last week.
Paul Highlights the good old games he’s been getting into that you can look into here:
Xbox Game Pass - Double Dragon Neon, Alex Kidd, Galaga and Pacman: https://majornelson.com/2017/05/24/xbox-game-pass-launches-june-1-with-100-games-early-access-for-gold-members-starts-today/
We didn’t take a deep dive into the land of Kickstarter this week as there wasn’t a lot that I saw that I thought was worthwhile, but the Imposters is now available and all ya’ll should head on over to http://www.drivethrurpg.com/browse/pub/5523/Ginger-Goat to get yourself some games.
What are we looking forward to? A few things.
Frostpunk, Pyre and Steamworld Dig 2! Some very good stuff.
Paul also talks about how to get access to some free games if that’s the kind of thing you might be interested in.
